The Update
So I went to the dr. yesterday for my 40 week appt. No change from last week. So the deal is if I don't go into labor on my own by next Tuesday, I will probably have a c-section on Wednesday (which, incidently, is my dad's birthday.)
Thankfully, I am not too uncomfortable. I think since he has dropped, breathing and sleeping have gotten easier. And I have more room in my stomach so I'm still enjoying food :) So other than being really big, I'm feeling pretty good.
My preference is to not have a repeat c-section, but since the main goal is a healthy baby coming out safely, I'm not going to get too worked up about how that ends up happening.

Poppy says he will be happy to "hand over" his birthday to Jude. He has used July 30th for almost 55 years. It is a very good day and he will never have to be reminded of Jude's birthday. Mimi will be able to remember it too!
Yeah, I think giving Poppy a reason to not dread July 30 will be worth a 41 week and one day pregnancy.

So your doctor gave you the option to have a VBAC? I had a c-section with my frist and really wanted to do a vaginal but my doc said no. So I had another c-section..I am hoping and praying to have a natural delivery the third time. E-mail me so we can chat about it..

Oh Jamie, I'm so glad to hear you sounding cheerful! And that you seemed to have grown a very contented baby. I'll keep checking here for updates.
