My 6 Month Old!
Asher turned 6 months old yesterday. A whole half of a year! Crazy!
In this shot, he is demonstrating his newest trick, the "almost" sitting position. The trick that I am really ready for, however, is the "roll from tummy to back" move because that means that he would not need me to come flip him during the night. I am convinced he would go back to sleeping through the night if he could just master this one skill. Last night required a total of 3 flips. But sooner or later (hopefully sooner) he will get it down and then I will get to sleep through the night and then something else will change because that is apparently the way this motherhood thing works.

I cannot believe that he is 6 months already! Time really flies doesn't it?! He'll be doing all of that stuff and more before you know it! : )
Just when I think I've seen the cutest picture ever of Asher, you put another one up! He is too cute! I love the expression here too.
And I like the guitar lessons by the way--Josiah likes to try to grabs the strings. Silly boy.

you got it...that is exactly how it works, they & you always move on to some other issue, but it is all good!
Bingo! Once you get one thing straightened out, there's something new! :) Happy 1/2 Year, sweet Asher!!!!
Happy 1/2, Asher man!!! :) I'm sorry to hear about your new sleeping patterns:( Hurry up and get that other roll-over down pat so your mummy can go back to sleep!!!
i wanted to thank you for the comment on our blog....that is so crazy how we named our blog the same thing and have the same taste in music! and if you found us blog hopping, then somewhere we probably have friends, or friends of friends in common!

I'm sure you are in need of a full nights sleep! We had that discussion today because I am waking up about 5-6 times a night to go to the restroom...and I have 3 months to go. I'm sure that not sleeping during pregnancy is one of God's ways of preparing us...BUT, I think I would rather be fully rested when Graham gets here instead of already tired!
