Little Drummer Boy

Asher's favorite toy is the drum he got from the Andries. He is always practicing. He's very dedicated to his art.

Almost as dedicated as I am to keeping a clean house, as you can tell.

He also likes this toy that he got from Carson.

We have big fun over here.

Did you take these pictures in the past two weeks? He already looks older than when last I saw him.

Oh, and do you know of any words that rhyme with "snarky?" It's for a poem I'm working on :)

our houses must be long-lost twins! :)

we need to get together again soon and have our mexican food fix!

yeah, I got tired of hassling with the moderation. It's just one big free-for-all now.

as for words that rhyme with snarky...

1. arky (as in "Noah, he built him, he built him an...)

2. Marky (as in ...and the Funky Bunch)

3. malarky

I'll try to think of more if these don't work for you.

lis--yes, we need a game day--but I guess we'll have to do it w/out text messaging :(

susanna--name the time and place and we are there!

And yes, Robin, these were taken yesterday. I swear he woke up bigger last Thursday! I could literally tell when I got him out of bed.

Funny that you mention the song about Noah because that is exactly what I have as the rhyme in my poem currently. That's awesome.

I also thought of malarky this morning but hadn't thought through how to use it in the poem yet.

We really are long lost twins.

Two more song suggestions:
"One (singular sensation)" from "A Chorus Line" suggested by my friend Joanna, and I thought of "ABC, 123" by the Jackson 5. They are both peppy. Some of the songs in "A Chorus Line" are a little bawdy, but I think that one isn't. I do, by the way, find you to be quite an Influential Person.
Harper has this drum too and I feel certain she classifies it with Things Hudson Is Too Little To Touch. Perhaps we'll try it out this afternoon. He has a tendency to fling objects rather violently when he likes them though. That could end badly.

Robin--we so are. it's obvious. these can't all be coincidences.

Patti--great song ideas! they are added to the list! and tell Harper that brother/sister duos usually do very well so she might want to let Hudson start practicing so they can play together one day.

Oh, Asher is so cute. I've decided to not use google reader for friends because I never read comments anymore. Ugh.

I was very impressed with Asher's drumming ability last week. He needs to teach Josiah some skills.

Oh, and your own personal poem is now ready for tomorrow. Sorry if parts of it are lame. I'm not that great of a poet.
